Waqas Ahmed
He is currently working in Afiniti as Senior Software Engineer and my responsibilities mainly include to inspect data from client and to guide AI teams on building intelligent models based on it for effecting pairing of customer with the agent having appropriate skill set. Previously he has worked in Allied Bank Limited in IT department working mainly on technologies like Machine Learning, Data Warehouse and Oracle ERP.
Sara Hafeez
She completed her bachelor's in Electronics Engineering from NED and Master's in Electrical Engineering from NUST. Her thesis was based on fault diagnosis and prognosis of induction motors. Sara started her career in teaching but then moved to energy markets. She worked as a Senior analyst at World Fuel services where she advised large commercial and industrial customers on their energy needs. Prior to that she was working with Schneider Electric in the same space.
Syed Maisam Abbas Abidi
He completed his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical (Power) Engineering from BZU, Multan and Master's Degree in Electrical (Control) Engineering from NUST-PNEC. His research was based on 'Optimization algorithm for residential load management.' He started his career with PTCL as Asst. Manager - QA in March 2015. He has also worked as Research Assistant at PRL NUST-PNEC from Aug 2017 to Feb 2019. Currently, he is working in TCS Pvt. Ltd as Manager QA & HSE and overseeing the nationwide activities related to Quality Assurance and HSE domain.
Muhammad Farhan Aslam
He has completed his Bachelor's of Engineering (Electronics Engineering) from NUST-PNEC in 2014 with a Silver Medal. He completed his M.S. in Electrical (Control) Engineering from NUST-PNEC in 2020 with a Gold Medal. His dissertation topic was 'Design Of A Peer To Peer Energy Trading On Micro Grid,' in which he designed a micro grid capable of power sharing between homes equipped with solar panels and fuel driven generators. Currently he is working in FPCL as an Instrumentation and Control Engineer and has an experience of 6+ years.
Muhammad Hassan Shah
He completed his Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics Engineering) from Iqra University, Karachi in 2013 and Master of Science in Electrical (Control) Engineering from NUST-PNEC, Karachi in 2020. His dissertation topic was 'Parallel Operation of DC-AC inverter for microgrid application,' in which he worked to design a strategy that could help in energy trading. Hassan is working in Habib University as Research Assistant, to pursue his passion of teaching and research. Prior to that, he had worked with an automotive trading company as Maintenance Engineer.
Muhammad Zuhaib
He completed BE Electrical Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering & Technology and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from NUST-PNEC. He has 3 years of working experience as a Research Assistant in Power Systems Lab and is currently a lecturer at NHU in Department of Electrical Engineering.
Hafsa Talat
She received her Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology and completed her Master's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NUST-PNEC. She is currently an Associate at Aga Khan Development Network Digital Health Resource Centre. She has also worked as a Research Assistant at Bahria University and Teacher Assistant at Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology.
Syeda Midhat Hasan Rizvi
She completed her Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology. She recieved her Master's degrees in Communication Systems and Wireless Systems from NUST-PNEC and Lund University respectively. She has worked as a Research Assistant at NUST School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science.
Muhammad Salman Khan
He completed his Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering from Dawood University of Engineering & Technology and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (Control) from NUST-PNEC. He is experienced in materials testing, transformer design, development and refurbishment. He is also a skilled IT Technician with experience in providing Level 2 and Level 3 IT Technical Support. He is currently working as Information Technology Technician at Ignite, Australia and as Customer Engineer (Power) at Vertiv, Australia.
Shariq Siraj Uddin Ghouri
He completed his M.S. in Electrical Engineering (Communication Systems) with his research work on Digital Video Broadcast standard evaluation in satellite communication networks. Currently he is attached with Power Research lab to further explore the Space laser communication in satellites which lead to his Ph.D. Research domain. He is currently serving as Sat Comm Engineer in Govt. of Pakistan and has previously served in PTCL (PIE Department), Warid (RAN planning and Optimization Dept), Ufone (NOC dept) and Mobilnk (OAN Dept).
Kiran Mahmood
She completed B.E. in Electronics Engineering and M.S. in Control Systems from NUST-PNEC. She is currently Assistant Manager at K-Electric. She has also worked as Management Trainee and Assistant Manager, Learning & OD at K-Electric
Hammad Hussain
He implemented an ‘Adaptive LMS equalizer’ on DSP Kit TMS320C6713 in real-time as his FYP. As a Research Associate at Digital Signal Processing Lab, Iqra University, he designed ‘Man Hum Noise Suppression System (to extract fetal heartbeat)’ with the collaboration of Agha Khan University Hospital. Later on, he joined Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology as Research Assistant where he developed an Adaptive Filter Lab with the collaboration with University Jeddah. During Research Associate-Ship at BiSMiL Lab, Information Technology University, Lahore, he conducted underwater acoustic communication experiments in a lake situated in Lahore by modelling the SISO and SIMO communication models.
Aurangzaib Khan Rana
He completed Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from PAK-KIET and Master's in Communication Systems from NUST-PNEC. He worked on IoT-Based Smart Grid during his Master's degree. He is currently a Shift Engineer at FAP Marine Terminals Limited with 6+ years of experience.
Hemant Parkash
He completed his Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from NEDUET, Karachi and M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management from NUST, Karachi. His thesis was based on Load Dispatch Management of a General Metropolitan City Network. He is working as a Senior Power Systems Consultant at Siemens Pakistan in a segment known Power Technologies International (Siemens PTI) and mainly responsible for performing Power System Studies.
Muhammad Suleman Tunio
He completed B.E. in Electronics from Mehran Univeristy of Engineering and Technology and M.S. in in Electrical (Control) Engineering from PNEC-NUST. He has worked as a Trainee Engineer and Shift Engineer and is currently a Deputy Manager at K-Electric. He is also working as a Data Scientist on Kaggle.
Muneeb Islam
He completed his Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology and Master's in Control Engineering from NUST-PNEC. He is currently a Deputy Manager at K-Electric and has previously worked as Pro-Active Maintenance Engineer, Assistant Production Manager and Trainee Engineer at K-Electric. He has also worked as a Content Writer at IEEE Research & Development Project Pakistan and as Project Application Engineer at STARK Industrial Solutions.

He completed B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences and M.S. in Electrical (Control) Engineering from NUST-PNEC.
