Early Detection of Epileptic Seizure by EDA and Drug Delivery System

Epilepsy is a neurological disorder affecting 50 million people worldwide (WHO fact sheet165). In Pakistan, over 1.38 million people suffer from epilepsy (Khatria et.al.2003). As epileptic seizures originatesrandomly, automatic seizure detection and prediction isremarkable area of research and investigation. Automated device is timely obligation to cater epileptic patient’s need. Proposed device is not only use to detect seizures but use to treat the suppress seizures due to anticonvulsant drug release system. This is use to alert the caregiver facilitate such patients specially if they are performing any important daily life task due to alert alarm may safe from physical harm. The device is equipped seizure auto detection algorithm which caters duration and release amount of drug for intended patient. It can be conveniently use in both in- and outpatients (but initially we will prefer to use in inpatient because close monitoring would be required).
